Apply for the The Dornsife Global Development Scholars Program – Priority Deadline is Nov. 7, 2014
The Dornsife Global Development Scholars program is one of the University’s newest, fully funded, hands on international experiences, which is open to all graduate and undergraduate majors (at all levels). We are excited to present this opportunity for students to make their mark on the quest for clean water in Africa.
The Dornsife Global Development Scholars program is based on a mentorship model, creating opportunities for students of all majors and educational levels to work alongside our World Vision partners on development projects related to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) including: health education, change management, social marketing, community engagement, monitoring and evaluation, economic development, and a host of other areas related to promoting and improving health outcomes in Africa. This program allows students to gain an international experience in sub-Saharan Africa for the duration of either 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, or over an academic semester/term break.
The application process is now open and application forms and more information can be found here http://publichealth.drexel.edu/global/dornsife-scholars/apply/. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. However, priority will be given to candidates who turn in completed applications by November 7, 2014.
